- A GW2K catalog I recieved says the 28.8 Telepath has full-duplex speakerphone
- (no mention of voice mail). A sales rep confirmed my reservation, that this is
- a type. The modem has voice mail only.
-
- The WinNEWS letter I received recently talks about Microsoft Phone being
- available from leading modem mfgs. "MS Phone is a powerful and easy-to-use
- software-only speakerphone and answering machine made possible by new
- communications technologies available only in MS Win 95 operating systems and
- by new, voice-enabled modems. Mfgs offering MS Phone products and systems
- include Creative Labs, Diamond Multimedia Systems, Micron Electronics, and
- Micro Computer Products." I'm wondering if the voice-enabled Telepath could be
- used with this SW and maybe a soundcard/speaker system?
-
- GW2K sales has told me they are waiting for reliable voice and speakerphone
- capable cards.
-
- Maybe I should save the $$ if ordering a GW2K system and buy a modem with both
- features elswhere.
